I went fishing with my dad for Fathers Day and this painting was produced in response to that day. I really wanted to use the vivid green of the grass as a way of directing the viewer into the paintiong with Compton Verney Art Gallery in the background. The blue skies overhead and occassionally cloud forms created stunning reflections in the water.

If you would like to purchase the painting framed there will be an additional charge of £50. The frame that I use is a lime wood tray frame and I paint the frame using Farrow and Ball 'Pointing' applying three coats. The painting is signed and dated on reverse and would be ready to hang.
